RISE plans to expand its influence through expanding its program to new cities. Over the next four years, RISE hopes to expand to additional metro areas including: Central California, San Diego, Denver, Detroit, Houston, New Orleans, Newark, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. Expansion of the RISE program to these areas, along with support of continuing activity in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area will give the RISE program a truly broad national presence.
- Worked with 178 Partner Schools, to date.
- 100% of Partner Schools are public schools: 76% charter, 24% district.
- 100% of Partner Schools are low-income schools: on average, 85% of students are eligible for free or reduced price lunch.
- Impacted 71,200 students, to date.
- Administered the RISE Teaching Conditions Survey to over 5,000 teachers, to date.
- 125% increase in school membership since 2005.
